Can I claim an NDIS invoice?
Yes! We regularly provide invoices for NDIS claims. Just contact us, and we’ll be happy to help.

How long does postage take?

Australia

  • Regular Post: 4–6 business days (WA, NT & FNQ may take longer).
  • Express Post: 1–2 business days (WA, NT & FNQ may take longer).
  • Priority Express: Orders placed before 12pm AEST are dispatched the same day via Express. Orders after 12pm are sent the next business day.

International Orders

  • Regular Post: Up to 20 business days (NZ: ~10 business days).
  • Express Post: Up to 15 business days (NZ: ~5 business days).
  • Customs/import taxes may apply in some countries.

All orders are set to Authority to Leave (ATL) by default. If you want a signature required, add "NO ATL" in the order notes.

What if my order is delayed?
If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe:

  1. Check your tracking number (sent via email).
  2. Contact Australia Post for updates.
  3. Check for delays. We ship from the Gold Coast, QLD, and delays may occur.

Carrier delays are beyond our control, but we’ll always assist where possible.

What is "processing time"?
Processing time is the time it takes to pack and dispatch your order. During peak times, this may take up to five business days.

If your order is urgent, please email us before purchasing to confirm we can send it in time.

How many decibels are Kooshy Bands? Are they volume-limiting?
Kooshy Band Headphonesâ„¢ V2 are volume-limited to 85dB, with optional 104dB speaker upgrades available separately.

  • Protects hearing and prevents long-term damage.
  • Maintains kid-friendly sound levels.
  • Prevents accidental volume spikes.
  • Suitable for children with sensory sensitivities.
  • Encourages safe listening habits from a young age.

How do I measure my child’s head for a Kooshy Band?
Use a measuring tape and wrap it around the head, across the ears.

Size guide: Fits head sizes 40–57cm (ages 2+). 

How long is the battery life?
12–13 hours of continuous playtime on a full charge.

How do I know when my Kooshy Bands are fully charged?

  • Plug in to charge (removing the speaker first is recommended).
  • A red light indicates charging.
  • The light turns off when fully charged (takes 1–2 hours).

Charging can be done with the speaker inside the headband or removed.

Are Kooshy Bands compatible with my device?
Yes! Kooshy Bands work with all Bluetooth-enabled devices, including iPads, iPhones, Android devices, tablets, and laptops.

For older in-flight entertainment systems without Bluetooth, a Bluetooth adapter is recommended.

Can Kooshy Bands be used with non-Bluetooth devices, such as older in-flight entertainment systems?
Yes! Kooshy Bands come with a 3.5mm auxiliary cable, allowing them to be used as wired headphones without Bluetooth or battery power. This makes them perfect for older airplane entertainment systems, gaming consoles, and devices without Bluetooth.

For in-flight entertainment systems that only have Bluetooth capability, a Bluetooth adapter is available for purchase.

Can Kooshy Bands be washed?
The headband is washable, but you must remove the speakers before washing.

Are they waterproof?
The speakers are not waterproof. Always remove the speakers before washing the headband.

Do Kooshy Bands have a microphone for hands-free talking?
Yes, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls.

Can I connect multiple Kooshy Bands to one device?
No, Bluetooth only allows one connection at a time.
